The detailed General Program of the conference may be downloaded using the link on the right column of this webpage. A booklet with the General Program will be included in every attendee kit, which is to be handed at the Registration Desk.

General Program

The Conference will include a Main Technical Program and a Complementary Technical Program.

Main Technical Program

Keynote Lectures addressed by world authorities in SHMII especially invited by the Organizing Committee
State-of-the-Art Reports prepared by well-known specialists in specific fields
Oral Presentation of Selected Papers consisting of conventional presentation and discussion of selected papers
Poster Sessions in which the authors will display their work allowing the audience direct communication with them.

Complementary Technical Program

Seminars on SHMII Practice and Special Theme Sessions, in which the discussion of specific subjects will be held. These events will be co-organized by interested individuals or groups with cooperation of the Organizing Committee.
Technical and commercial exhibits, which will be simultaneous to scientific sessions. Companies and organizations interested in exhibiting products and services are encouraged to participate.

  • Integrated systems and implementations of SHM
  • Design guidelines and codes of SHM
  • Standardization of SHM systems
  • Critical issues for SHM

Official language

The official language of the conference is English. Simultaneous translation from Spanish to English and vice versa will be provided during the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Keynote Lectures, and selected State-of-the-Art Reports, Seminars on SHMII Practice, and Special Theme Sessions.
