Payment Instructions

Please follow the next steps in order to complete your registration and payment:

1. Obtain a username and password.
If you have registered as an author or attendee you have already received them. Bear in mind that each attendee must have an independent account even if associated with a single exhibitor. Should you have any problem locating your username and/or password, please contact us at SecretariatSHMII5@iingen.unam.mx. If have not registered, please do so here to receive your username and password.

2. Log in by filling the boxes in the form below.
You will be presented with your general information.

3. Click on the Online Registration link.
You will be presented with the registration form. The information in our database will fill up the corresponding boxes in the form. Please complete any missing information and make any changes you deem appropriate.

4. Select the type or registration.
Indicate if you are a paper/poster presenter or an exhibitor, if you are attending the short course and the number/data of accompanying persons. Note the three options for exhibitors:

a) Exhibitor without membership to ISHMII whose company has already paid booth/tabletop fees
b) Exhibitor with membership to ISHMII whose company has already paid booth/tabletop fees
c) Exhibitor paying booth/tabletop fees with waived registration fees.

5. Select you payment method.
You may pay using any major credit card, a PayPal account or a bank transfer. Use the PayPal option if you are paying with a credit card. If you are paying with a bank transfer, the details of the transfer will be presented to you. Please send a copy of your bank transfer to SecretariatSHMMI5@iingen.unam.mx.

6. Complete the payment process in the PayPal window.
Click on the Pay Now button for the registration system to prompt you with a new a PayPal window where you can pay using your PayPal account or a credit card. Note that you may change the language of the PayPal page on its upper right corner and that it corresponds to the PayPal account of Sociedad Mexicana de Ingeniería Estructural A.C.

7. Return to the SHMII-5 window where you may print out your registration form.

8. Log out of the SHMII-5 registration system by clicking in the Logout icon in the top right corner.

For hotel reservations please follow the instructions stated in the Venue section of this website.

Payment Method

Booth and tabletops may be reserved by downloading and completing the SHMII- Exhibit Reservation Form and making a $500 USD deposit payment. Payments may also be made by direct bank deposit or international wire transfer to:

Important Terms and Conditions

The cost of a booth or tabletop includes one full technical registration. Two accompanying persons are allowed for each additional exhibit registration paid. Exhibit registrations, however, do not include meals, access to technical sessions, tours or conference dinner). Separate lunch/meal tickets or a full technical registration need to be purchased separately for the accompanying persons.

• Spaces are assigned on a first-come first-served basis
• No space will be reserved without the $500.00 reservation deposit
• Reservation deposits are non-refundable
• All exhibitors must complete and sign the SHMII-5 Exhibit Space Contract
• Full payment for exhibit space is due by October 31, 2011. No refunds will be made past this date.
• Booth transfer from one exhibitor to another is possible with prior notification and consent from SHMII-5 Secretariat.
